Delete your GymChad account

Effective date: 4 September 2026

In the app (immediate)

Open GymChad → Profile tab → account settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, profile, cloud training backup and its history, group memberships and subscription status records. Your publications are also removed from other members' groups. The action is immediate and cannot be undone.

By email

If you no longer have access to the app, send a deletion request to contact@gymchad.app and specify the email address linked to your Google or Apple sign-in. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, specify the private relay address shown for GymChad in your Apple account settings. We may ask you to verify that you own the account before deleting it. We respond to requests within 30 days.

What is deleted, what is kept

Deleted: your account, profile (username, picture), cloud training backup and its history, group memberships, reactions, groups you own, push notification tokens and subscription status records.
Also deleted: your group publications, reports you sent or reports about your account, and blocks linked to your account.
On your device: your local logbook stays there until you uninstall the app.

Sign in with Apple

If the app asks you to remove Apple access manually after deletion, open your Apple Account, choose Sign in with Apple, select GymChad and stop using Sign in with Apple for this app. Your GymChad account has already been deleted.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it separately in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. The stores and RevenueCat retain purchase records under their own retention policies. Manage Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions.
